Attaching the handle
1. Loop handle
MODEL: MT23HM/B
1. Sandwich the shaft tube between the loop handle body
(A) and the handle holder (B). (Fig.5-11)
2. Secure the loop handle by fully tightening screws (C)
(M5 × 35) and nuts (D) (M5).

1. Attach to extend miter of a handle (A) and to insert a
pipe. (Fig.5-12)
2. Secure the loop handle by fully tightening screws (B)
(M5 × 30) and nuts (C) (M5).

MODEL: MT27M, MT27K, MT27H
NOTICE
Attach the loop handle on the angle transmission side
relative to the position marker (F).
1. Using the position marker (F) on the shaft tube as a
guide, sandwich the shaft tube between the loop handle
body (A) and the handle holder (B). While doing so,
make sure handle holder (B) is oriented as indicated by
the arrow direction in the illustration. This arrangement is
intended to protect the operator from accidental contact
with the cutting attachment. (Fig.5-13)
2. Secure the loop handle by fully tightening screws (C)
(M5 × 30) and nuts (D) (M5).

2. Double handle
MODEL: MT36K, MT36H
1. Slide the control handle (A) over handle (B). Secure by
tightening screw (J) (M5 × 30) and nut (K) (M5).

2. Slide the handgrip (C) over handle (D). Secure by
tightening screw (L) (M5 × 30) and nut (M) (M5).
[Tightening torque] 1.5 (N

m)
3. Bring the inner end of handle (B) into contact with that
of handle (D). Fit both ends into the slot on the handle
holder (E-2).
4. Install the handle holder (E-1) and hand-tighten bolt
(N) (M6 × 20).
5. Mount handle holder (E-2) to handle holder (F). Hand-
tighten bolt (O) (M8 × 50).
6. Bring the inner ends of both handles into firm contact
in the middle of handle holder (E-1). Adjust the handle
angle.
7. Secure the handles by evenly tightening bolts (N) (M6
×
20) and (O) (M8
×
50).
8. Using clips (G) and (H), fix the throttle linkage and
cord assembly (I) to handle (B) and the shaft tube.

1. Open the clamping faces of the handle (A) and insert
the shaft tube (Fig. 5-12).
