Example: - Calibrating mA Output
To calibrate
ZERO,
Select
ZERO Measured
Edit Box, when this Edit Box is selected
LC-11 will source value that is seen in
ZERO Expected
Value
(here LC-11 will source 4.000mA).
Now Measure the source value in Reliable Measure Unit. For
Example the external measure unit is measuring 3.9980mA. Then
enter 3.9980 value in
ZERO Measured
Edit Box & Press
MENU/ENT
key to calibrate the ZERO.
To calibrate
SPAN,
Select
SPAN Measured
Edit Box, when this Edit Box is selected
LC-11 will source value that is seen in
SPAN Expected
Value
(here LC-11 will source 20.000mA).
Now Measure the source value in Reliable Measure Unit. For
Example the external measure unit is measuring 20.0100mA.
Then enter 20.0100value in
SPAN Measured
Edit Box & Press
MENU/ENT
key to calibrate the SPAN.
Follow the same procedure to calibrate the other output types.
Expected Values of Zero and Span for source calibration are as per
below table.
