GPS Master Clock model MC-1-M can be configured for total 8 additional optional IRIG-B AM outputs
considering if no other type of optional outputs is configured.
NOTE:
a. All the IRIG-B time code will have same configuration as shown in Telnet menu of ETH0 port.
b. ADD-On module of IRIG-B AM time code signal cannot be configured differently than
standard IRIG-B AM time code both will have same configuration.
15.5 Optional Module – NMEA Output
GPS Master Clock model MC-1-M is available with optional add-on module having one NMEA output per
module. NMEA output is available at BNC terminal on rear panel unit labeled as COMx, SWx (where x
varies from 3 to 6) depending on number of extra optional NMEA outputs ordered. NMEA output available
is of RS-232/RS-485 electrical standard.
15.5.1 Specifications:
Protocol: NMEA-0183 (RMC)
Port Settings: 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200/-7/8-N/O/E-1/2
(Configurable using DIP Switches)
Output: RS232/RS485** (Factory Configurable)
Interface: DB9 Female Connectors (Rear Panel)
NOTE: Refer table 11.1 for NMEA time frame details.
Serial communication parameters settings of each NMEA output such as Baud Rate, parity, Bits per Data
Byte and Stop bit can be configured through 8 way piano-type DIP switch available with each serial port
(rear panel). Refer below details for each individual switch configuration in 8 pin switch.
Switch configuration is as follows:
