The ignition switch controls the ignition and lighting circuits and allows the steering
to be locked. Its various positions are described below.
IV - Ignition switch.
Caution
Do not change the position of the key while driving.
The engine and motorcycle must be stopped before removing the key.
Position Fonction
Position (OFF) All circuits are off: the key can there -
fore be removed.
Position (ON) All electrical circuits are live: the en -
gine can therefore be started. The key, however,
cannot be removed.
To lock the steering, turn the handlebars to the left,
insert the key, push and turn it to the left until the
steering lock logo
To park the motorcycle with the sidelight on, turn
the key to the « » : » position: The handlebars
are locked and the lights remain on: this makes
it possible, at night, to signal the presence of the
motorcycle parked at the side of the road
Headlights - Position indicator
Turn the main ignition key to position , the headlights come on automatically.
