The equipment is provided without any SIM card therefore, the user must insert
one to establish any mobile communication. The SIM card insertion must be
done using the SIM holder enabled for that purpose the same way as it is done
in cell phones.
The equipment carries a straight stubby antenna with SMA connector to
connect directly on one of the external sides of the enclosure, so there is no
extra installation required. It is also possible to connect any other GSM external
antenna with SMA connectivity directly without any additional enclosure
machining. In order to obtain optimal conditions for data transmission it is
necessary to follow all the rules applicable to any radio device already
mentioned in this document.
Do not place the device inside metal areas.
Do not place the device close to interference source.
When using an external antenna do not twist the cable.

BLUETOOTH LOCAL WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Communication between LOGS50 and PC or laptop it is done via BT at 19200
bauds.
Those communications allow to edit configuration parameters, and the
execution of certain utilities.
Those all actions are implemented through a specific application software
running in the PC called Configurator program. Capacities of this software
application can be consulted in detail in its manual of use.
