spectators, including pets, should be kept a safe distance

away from the work area.

– Such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or

dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust

or fumes.

sense. Do not operate the driver when you are tired, or

under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

They can get caught in moving parts. Loose clothes,

jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

with your finger on the trigger. Make sure the switch is off

before connecting the driver to power source.

4.  Do not overreach – Keep proper footing and balance at

all times. Proper footing and balance enable better control

of the cordless driver in unexpected situations.

protection. Protective equipment such as dusk mask, non-

appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

driver on – A wrench or a key that is left attached to a

rotating part of the tool may result in personal injury.

extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are

connected and properly used. – Use of dust collection

can reduce dust-related hazards.

Tool Use and Care

likelihood of personal or mechanical injury if it is used at

the rate for which it was designed.

2.  Do not use driver if switch does not turn on or off –

The driver that cannot be controlled with the switch is

dangerous and must be repaired.

3.  Disconnect the plug from the power source and/

or battery pack from the driver before making any

adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the

driver – Such preventive safety measures reduce risk of

starting the power tool accidentally.

4.  Store idle driver out of reach of children or other

untrained persons – Drivers are dangerous in the hands

of untrained users.

5.  Maintain cordless driver – Check for misalignment

or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any

other condition that may affect the driver's operation. If

damaged, have the driver serviced before using. Many

accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.

6.  Use the driver, accessories and driver bits etc. in

accordance with these instructions, taking into

account the working conditions and the work to be

performed – Use of the driver for operations different

from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

7.  Hold driver by insulated gripping surfaces when

perfoming an operation where the driver may contact

hidden wiring or its own cord – Contact with a "live wire"

will make exposed metal parts of the tool "live" and shock

the operator.
