6.3.2 Tag Selection

The tag selection display lists all of the long tag names found during 
polling.  Tag names may span two lines if necessary to show all of 

the text.
If the long tag name is not available, or it is blank, the short tag name 
is used.  If the short tag name is blank, the text “Poll address x” is 

used.

If necessary, the display spans more than one screen.  The lower left 

corner contains the symbol 

 when additional screens follow the 

present one, the symbol 

 when additional screens precede the 

present one, and both when additional screens follow and precede 
the present one.  If there is only one screen, there is no symbol.

Rotate the knob to move the reverse video highlight to the desired 
tag.  Press the knob to select the highlighted tag and proceed to the 
data acquisition display.  Press MENU/EXIT to disconnect from HART 

mode and return to the main display.

6.3.3 Data Acquisition

This display is shown while acquiring all of the configuration data 

from the device.  The string of dots is extended once per second to 

show the operation is progressing.  The 

 symbol in the upper right 

corner flashes to indicate a working connection.

The display shows the name of the tag being accessed.

Press MENU/EXIT to stop data acquisition, disconnect from HART 
mode, and return to the main display.
