Alternative 2
1. Screw the retaining screw through the
wireless sensor and into the wall.
2. Screw tight, but do not overtighten.
3. If the wireless sensor is placed outdoors
the wireless remote sensor for
temperature/humidity should be placed
on a north wall or in the shadow. If it is
placed in the sun it will show excessive
temperature values.
4. A suitable position is on a rail, under the
shadow of a roof or under a balcony.
5. Make sure to mount the wireless sensor ver-
tically, so that any moisture is ventilated out.

Positioning
• Mount the sensor in an open space with at
least 15 metres of free space on each side.
• Mount the sensor on a stable platform at
least 1.5 metres above the ground.
• Place the sensor with the solar panel facing
south, otherwise the wind direction will not
be shown correctly. Over the sensor there is
an embedded
N
. Check with a compass
that the
N
mark is facing north.

Mounting
• Screw the sensor base onto the platform.
Tighten the large nut that holds the brace
to the base.

• Check on the built-in spirit level that the
sensor is horizontal, otherwise the
precipitation will not be shown correctly.
• The following indications are given.
Barometric pressure will increase.
Barometric pressure will remain
unchanged.
Barometric pressure will drop.
BACKLIGHT
• If the product is battery powered, press
the "A" button to switch on the backlight
for 15 seconds.
• If the product is powered by a mains
adapter the power supply from the battery
is disconnected automatically and the
backlight stays on all the time. Press the
button
to set the brightness of the
backlight. There are 4 settings – 3 for
brightness and backlight off. Press the "A"
button to switch on the backlight with
maximum brightness for 10 seconds.
NOTE:
During the time the signal for radio
controlled clock setting is received the
backlight is switched off automatically to
prevent interference.
DISCHARGED BATTERY
If the icon for discharged battery is shown
during indoor data the battery for the weather
station must be replaced as soon as possible.
