1. SPECIFICATION
I GENERAL: This is designed to power a load while charging a battery in a positive grounded
system. This is listed by Underwriters Laboratories under standard 1012 for power conversion equip-
ment in a controlled environment.
1.2 OUTPUT RATINGS
12.1 Voltage: Float is adjustable from to 54 volts for 23 or 24 cells of battery,
voltage is adjustable from float voltage to 57 for equalizing 23 or 24 cells of battery. A front panel
mounted selects float or operation.

Regulation
(A) Static: Steady state output voltage % of any the range of 48.3 to
55 for any load current from no load to full load for the input voltage and frequency spec-
ified.
(B) Temperature Coefficient: Output voltage change does not exceed an average of 0.01% per degree
C the ambient temperature of 0” C to C. Refer to paragraph 1
(C) Dynamic: For a step change of 250 amps the range of 5% to 100% of full load, the max-
imum voltage transient does not exceed 5% of the steady state voltage. Recovery to within
steady state does not exceed 200 milliseconds and all transient behavior
disappears 500 milliseconds. Refer to paragraph
