Continue assembly of the upper tower
with insertion of the ends of the battens
and the diagonal bars to the pins on the
frames.
If the mobile access towers being set up
should have a work platform placed at a
height over 2 metres, at this point, you
have to assemble the 4 stabilizer braces.
Remove the joints for the stabilizer
braces from the bag supplied with the
scaffolding. Open the rear strip of the first
joint, loosening the relevant nut-eyebolt,
position the joint on the riser of the tower
at a height to fit the upper vertical part
of the brace. Repeat the operation with a
second joint in the same riser distancing
it adequately from the first to fit the same
brace.
Open the front strip of the two joints
by loosening the corresponding nuts-
eyelets. Position the brace between the
two joints with an inclination of approx.
120° compared to the long side of the
tower, compatible with the surrounding
dimensions.
Close the two front strips of the joint again
on the brace, ensuring this stays well on
the ground and tighten the corresponding
nuts-eyebolts. Repeat the operations with
the same sequence for the other three
risers of the tower.
