Units
drop down
Select the engineering units that this calibration range will be calibrated in. Depending on the
chosen units here, this will limit the available conversion units to those compatible with the
selected units.
Type
drop down
Select the type of calibration to perform. Options are:
Gain & Offset
Calibration with a single gain and offset.
Multi Point
Multi point calibration using multiple gain and offset segments.
Polynomial
Multi point calibration using polynomials.
Points
buttons
Add or remove a new calibration point. Calibration points can only be added one at a time.
(Not present on the Gain & Offset calibration type.
NOTE: The advanced re-entrant calibration functionality allows you to add
calibration points in any order. You can even come back to the calibration
later to add more points or remove them.
For example, you may perform various points in compression then the next
day return to add more points in tension.
Initials
header
Enter calibrator initials.
Live Input
label
Indicates the live value of the mV/V input.
Live Output
label
Shows the live value of the output using the current calibration settings.
Calibration
Curve
chart
This is a coarse view of the calibration points that may help to spot erroneous calibration
points.
Undo
button
Allows the last performed step to be undone.
Import
button
Import a previously exported calibration data file.
Export
button
Export the current calibration to a file for later import into the same or a different handheld.
