Please read this manual carefully before operation.

This manual, the warranty document, the sales receipt and

(if possible) the packaging should be stored appropriately
throughout the whole operation period of the product.
The device cannot be operated by children or people with
−
impaired motor fitness, sensory capability and mental capa-
city, as well as by people with no experience or knowledge,
concerning the operating of electrical appliances, unless
such persons are under supervision or have been instructed
about safe use, by people responsible for their safety.
Take particular care when children are around the applian-
−
ce. This appliance is not a toy! Keep it out of the reach of
children.
This appliance is intended for home use, thus it is not sui-
−
table for commercial use.
Do not use this appliance outdoors. Do not expose it to
−
rain or moisture.
Before use check whether the outlet voltage matches the
−
information included in the manual and the data on the
name plate.
Only original accessories should be used.
−
Please use this appliance only as intended.
−
NEVER immerse the appliance or its elements (the base) in
−
the water or in any other liquid. Any contact of the appliance
or its elements with such substances is forbidden.
Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.

If the appliance gets wet, immediately disconnect the plug
−
from the outlet.
Do not use this appliance if it is damaged (i.e. if the cord or
−
plug are damaged, if the appliance is not working properly,
if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way). In
such case immediately disconnect the appliance from the
power source and visit the nearest service centre to have
the appliance checked or repaired.
Do not use the appliance near fire or flammable
−
materials.
Always disconnect the plug from the outlet if the appliance
−
is not used for a longer period of time, if additional parts
are being connected, if the appliance is being cleaned or
if there are any problems. The appliance should be turned
off beforehand.
Do not pull the cord while disconnecting the plug from the

outlet. Instead grasp and pull the plug.
Do not try to remove any parts of the housing. Do not put
−
any objects into the appliance.
This appliance should be connected to a grounded outlet
−
only.
Attention!
In case of damage to the power cord it should be replaced
with a cord of the same type by the employees of an authorised
service centre only. Do not tamper with the appliance and do
not try to repair it on your own.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damages if the
product has not been used as intended, if it has been operated
improperly or repaired by unauthorised persons.
SAFETY OF OPERATION
The kettle should be used together with its original base.

Do NOT put any objects into the kettle while it is in use.
z
The appliance should be positioned on flat surfaces only.
z
Do not position the appliance: (1) on hot or wet surfaces
z
or near such surfaces or (2) directly near the water. Do not
hang the cord over heat sources (cooking surfaces, gas
cookers, etc.) or sharp edges.
Please ensure that the power cord does not dangle and
z
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not fill the water if the kettle rests on the base.
z
Do not fill the water over the maximum level. If the kettle
z
is overfilled, boiling water may escape.
If the water has been spilled over the electric components
z
of the kettle and the base, dry them thoroughly before
connecting the appliance to the mains.
