Electrical Service

Warning

The ice machine must be grounded in accordance

with national and local electrical codes. Do not use

any extension cords. If the supplied power cord is not

long enough to reach the socket, a designated socket

should be installed close to the ice machine.

VOLTAGE

The maximum allowable voltage variation is ±6% of the

rated voltage at start-up of the ice machine’s compressor.
All ice machines are factory pre-wired with a 2 meter (6 ft)

power cord, and no plug is supplied.

FUSE/CIRCUIT BREAKER

A separate fuse/circuit breaker must be provided for each

ice machine.

TOTAL CIRCUIT AMPACITY

The total circuit ampacity is used to determine the wire

size of the power supply line.
The wire size (or gauge) is also dependent upon location,

materials used, length of run, etc. This must be determined

by a qualified electrician.
