Minimum distance 200 mm between dampers installed in one fire dividing structure.

Distance 75 mm between the damper and the structure (wall/ceiling).
●
When installing SEDM-L (smaller dimensions), which is not equipped with transport spacers
and corners, the Blades must be in the “CLOSED” position. The damper body must not be
deformed during installation and fire stopping.

After installing the damper, the damper blades must only be opened, or closed by operation
of the actuator only

standard distances. They are
considered as minimum. Actual
location should be based on wall
manufacturers requirements.

turers specific guidelines for de-
flection heads, penetration size,
location to other services, fire
stopping and load bearing ca-
pacity.
With smoke control ducting then
refer to duct manufacturers test-
ed parameters for spacing & pat-
tress requirements.
No other services should pass
through the dampers building
work opening.
