Tensioning and changing V-belts

Alternator 120 A bottom left

Remove mounting nut

Turn setting bolt

in clockwise direction until

the tension of the V-belts is correct

Retighten mounting nut

To change the V-belts turn the setting bolt anti

−

clockwise.

until the V-belt is correctly

tensioned

Retighten lock-nut and mounting bolts

To change the V-belts, back off the adjusting nut
and swing the alternator inwards.
