It is advisable to properly clean the device if it comes into contact with sea water, and always at regular intervals
of no more than three months.
During all inspection and sanitation operations, the operator must wear adequate personal protective
equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, etc.
8.2
Cleaning metal parts
Metal and painted parts can be cleaned with off-the-shelf sprays for domestic use, which do not contain alcohol
or solvents that may discolour or damage the paint. Adhere to the instructions provided in the warnings. Do not
use water jets or sprays.
8.3
Cleaning plastic parts
Use a common off-the-shelf detergent to clean plastic parts, and comply with the instructions provided. Avoid
using solvent- or alcohol-based products.

Cleaning the wheels
Periodically clean the driving wheel, also based on the environment where the device is used.
Remove any solid parts that may deposit in the rubber, as well as any threads and hair that may get stuck to the
hub, obstructing rotation.

Maintenance
8.5.1
Routine maintenance
The person in charge of performing routine maintenance on the device must have the following requisites:
Technical knowledge of the device and of the periodic maintenance operations illustrated herein
Knowledge of original or approved materials, accessories and components/spare parts (if applicable) in
order to carry out any operation without causing alterations and modifications to the device
