5.6.5 Climb
Bring the device near the staircase to be climbed.
Switch on the device (see the paragraph "Switching on"). Set the desired speed (see paragraph "Speed
regulation").
Select the climb mode (see paragraph "Movement mode selection")
Move the rudder to one of the driving positions on the staircase (see paragraph. "Rudder regulation").
Bring the movement wheels into contact with the first lift (if the lifting wheels interfere with this position,
make an empty rotation pressing one of the movement buttons).
Tilt the device and starting the climb pushing the movement button from the handles or from the rudder.
Wait for the lifting system completes its cycle by positioning the device on the next step by holding the
movement button (the device will automatically block rotation at the end of each cycle).
Pull the device to the next step (movement wheels in contact with the lift) and repeat the lifting operations
until reaching the end of the ramp. When the ramp is completed, return the device to the stationary position
at a distance such that the loading base can be completely positionable on the ground.
During the climb/descent phases, position yourself and maintain a minimum distance of 80 cm (about
two steps) from to the movement wheels of the device and at least 30 ° of inclination towards the top of
the staircase from the stationary position of the device.
