Braking and moving
Impulse Ambiente
With the reclining surface in the low-
est position, hold down button S8
on the hand controller and press the
castor button at the same time to un-
lock the castors.

The Impulse Ambiente model is now ready to be moved.
When button S7 on the hand controller is pressed (reclining
surface height adjustment), the castors are retracted and the
bed stands on its feet.

Hand controller button S8 has a dual function
on the Impulse Ambiente model (movable in
the low position).
Caution! The moving function should only be
set for the time when the bed is being moved
and should then be deactivated by moving the
reclining surface into a higher position.
Impulse XL
The Impulse XL model (movable at
any height) has a central castor lock-
ing mechanism which is mechanical-
ly operated with a central foot pedal.
The foot pedal is located in the mid-
dle of the foot area of the moveable
frame.
The Impulse XL model has three possible settings:
1. Central locking of the castors
(foot pedal down)
2. Four castors released 360°
(foot pedal in the middle)
3. One castor fixed direction
(foot pedal up)
Caution! The Impulse XL care bed can be
moved to any height position permitted by the
reclining surface. This should only be done in
exceptional cases and under the supervision
of care staff. The fixation of the castors should
subsequently be checked in order to ensure
that the bed is in a braked position after trans-
port. The occupant's safety is the top priority!
