RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
•
The machine should always be used in a covered, dry location. The ambient tempera-
ture should be between 0°C and 50°C. The level of humidity should be less than 60%.
•
The item on which you are working must be correctly secured and held in place using
a suitable attachment system-especially if it is a small item or a sheet of metal.
•
Apply constant pressure on your tool-always in the direction of travel of the machine.
Do not apply too much pressure on the saw or the sander that would reduce the speed
by over 25% over a long period of time. If your tool is overloaded and has heated up,
run the machine without a load for a few minutes to cool the motor.
•
Use blades suitable for the types of material being sawed and always perfectly sharp to
avoid excessive stress on your tool.
•
Use maximum speed when sawing hard materials.
•
Use sandpaper suited to the job: fine sandpaper for finishing work, coarse sandpaper
for rough work, depending on the materials.
•
While sanding, remove dust from the abrasive belt in order to increase its effective-
ness.
•
If you are sanding paint, make sure it does not contain lead, or wear a protective mask.
•
To avoid scratches, it is preferable to lift up the multi-function tool from the item be-
fore stopping it.
•
After each use, clean out the shavings and sawdust from the movable parts of the
machine.
•
Be careful not to break the blade when putting the saw down. Do not rest your tool
down until it has come to a complete stop.
MAINTENANCE
•
Clean the multi-function tool using a soft, damp cloth. Do not use detergents or flam-
mable products which may damage the tool.
•
Your cordless multi-function tool does not require regular mechanical maintenance
such as greasing the bearings or the rollers.
•
Check the state of the charger power cable before each use.
