GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Note: Read all instructions.
Failure to follow all instructions listed below, may result in electric shock, fire and/or seri-
ous personal injury.
Work Area
1. Keep your work area clean and well lit.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
3. Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating a power tool.
Electrical Safety
4. The plug on the battery charger must match the mains. You must never modify the
plug in any way.
5. Do not expose the tool, battery or battery charger to rain or wet conditions.
6. Power cord must not be used to pull or remove the plug with. Keep the cord away
from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Personal Safety
7. Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
Always use common sense when operating a power tool.
8. Use suitable safety equipment for the prevailing conditions.
E.g. Safety goggles, non-skid safety shoes, helmet and hearing protection.
9. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
10. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts.
Tool Use and Care
11. Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application.
12. Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on or off.
13. Disconnect battery pack from tool before making any adjustments, changing acces-
sories or storing the tool.
14. Keep the power tool out of reach from children and people who are not familiar with
the power tool and the instructions for using a power tool.
15. Before each use, always inspect the tool for physical damage, so that the perfor-
mance and safety requirements are met.
16. If damage to the power tool, please contact the manufacturer/importer for advice
on what action to take.
17. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools with sharp cutting
edge are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
