FUNCTIONAL
DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and the battery cartridge is removed
before adjusting or checking function on the tool.
Installing or removing battery
cartridge
CAUTION:
Always switch off the tool before
installing or removing of the battery cartridge.
CAUTION:
Hold the tool and the battery car
-
tridge firmly when installing or removing battery
cartridge.
F ailure to h old th e tool and th e battery
cartridge firmly may cause them to slip off your hands
and result in d amage to th e tool and battery c artrid ge
and a personal injury.

Battery c artrid ge
T o remov e th e battery c artrid ge, slid e it f rom th e tool
w h ile slid ing th e button on th e f ront of th e c artrid ge.
T o install th e battery c artrid ge, align th e tongue on th e
battery c artrid ge w ith th e groov e in th e h ousing and slip
it into plac e. I nsert it all th e w ay until it loc ks in plac e
w ith a little c lic k. I f y ou c an see th e red ind ic ator on th e
upper sid e of th e button, it is not loc ked c ompletely .
CAUTION:
Always install the battery cartridge
fully until the red indicator cannot be seen.
I f not,
it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to
y ou or someone around y ou.
CAUTION:
Do not install the battery cartridge
forcibly.
I f th e c artrid ge d oes not slid e in easily , it is
not being inserted c orrec tly .
Battery protection system
T h e tool is eq uipped w ith a battery protec tion sy stem.
T h is sy stem automatic ally c uts of f pow er to th e motor to
ex tend battery lif e.
T h e tool w ill automatic ally stop d uring operation if th e
tool and / or battery are plac ed und er one of th e f ollow ing
c ond itions:
Overloaded:
T h e tool is operated in a manner th at c auses it to d raw
an abnormally h igh c urrent.
I n th is situation, turn th e tool of f and stop th e applic ation
th at c aused th e tool to bec ome ov erload ed . T h en turn
th e tool on to restart.
I f th e tool d oes not start, th e battery is ov erh eated . I n
th is situation, let th e battery c ool bef ore turning th e tool
on again.
Low battery voltage:
T h e remaining battery c apac ity is too low and th e tool
w ill not operate. I f y ou turn th e tool on, th e motor d oes
not run or th e motor runs again but stops soon. I n th is
situation, remov e and rec h arge th e battery .

Switch action
CAUTION:
Before installing the battery car
-
tridge into the tool, always check to see that the
switch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the "OFF" position when released.
CAUTION:
When not operating the tool,
depress the trigger-lock button from B side to
lock the switch trigger in the OFF position.

Lighting up the lamp
CAUTION:
Do not look in the light or see the
source of light directly.

ligh t up th e lamp. T h e lamp keeps on ligh ting w h ile pull-
ing th e sw itc h trigger or ac tuating th e c ontac t element.
T h e lamp goes out approx imately 1 0 sec ond s af ter
releasing th e sw itc h trigger and th e c ontac t element.
NOTE:
U se a d ry c loth to w ipe th e d irt of f th e lens of
th e lamp. Be c aref ul not to sc ratc h th e lens of lamp, or
it may low er th e illumination.
