Safety Warnings Specific for Polishing Operations
1 .
Do not allow any loose portion of the polishing
bonnet or its attachment strings to spin freely.
Tuck aw ay or trim any loose attachment strings.
L oose and spinning attac h ment strings c an entan-
gle your fingers or snag on the workpiece.
Additional Safety W arnings

Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool
only w hen hand-held.
2.
Check that the w orkpiece is properly supported.
3.
If w orking place is extremely hot and humid, or
badly polluted by conductive dust, use a short-cir-
cuit breaker ( 30 mA) to assure operator safety.
4 .
Do not use the tool on any materials contain-
ing asbestos.

FUNCTIONAL
DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
Alw ays be sure that the tool is
sw itched off and unplugged before adjusting or
checking function on the tool.
Sw itch action
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the tool, alw ays
check to see that the sw itch trigger actuates
properly and returns to the " OFF" position w hen
released.

T o start th e tool, simply pull th e sw itc h trigger. T h e
rotation speed w ill inc rease as y ou pull th e trigger.
R elease th e sw itc h trigger to stop. F or c ontinuous oper-
ation, pull th e sw itc h trigger, push in th e loc k button and
th en release th e sw itc h trigger. T o stop th e tool f rom th e
loc ked position, pull th e trigger f ully , th en release it.
CAUTION:
Sw itch can be locked in " ON" posi-
tion for ease of operator comfort during extended
use. Apply caution w hen locking tool in " ON"
position and maintain firm grasp on tool.
CAUTION:
Do not plug in the tool w ith the
lock-on sw itch engaged.
T h e tool w ill be run
unsupported and it may cause a personal injury or
breakage.

NOTICE:
If the tool is operated continuously
at low speeds for a long time, the motor w ill get
overloaded, resulting in tool malfunction.
NOTICE:
The speed adjusting dial can be turned
only as far as 5 and back to 1. Do not force it past
5 or 1, or the speed adjusting function may no
longer w ork.
