Safety Warnings Specific for Wire Brushing Operations:
1 .
Be aw are that w ire bristles are throw n by the
brush even during ordinary operation. Do not
overstress the w ires by applying excessive
load to the brush.
The wire bristles can easily
penetrate ligh t c loth ing and / or skin.
2.
If the use of a guard is recommended for w ire
brushing, do not allow any interference of the
w ire w heel or brush w ith the guard.

or brush may expand in diameter due to work load
and centrifugal forces.
Additional Safety Warnings:
1 .
When using depressed centre grinding w heels,
be sure to use only fiberglass-reinforced wheels.
2.
NEVER USE Stone Cup type w heels w ith this
grinder.
T h is grind er is not d esigned f or th ese
types of wheels and the use of such a product
may result in serious personal injury.
3.
Be careful not to damage the spindle, the
ange (especially the installing surface) or the
lock nut. Damage to these parts could result in
w heel breakage.
4 .
Make sure the w heel is not contacting the
w orkpiece before the sw itch is turned on.
5 .
Before using the tool on an actual w orkpiece,
let it run for a w hile. Watch for vibration or
w obbling that could indicate poor installation
or a poorly balanced w heel.

Use the specified surface of the wheel to per

form the grinding.
7.
Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool
only w hen hand-held.
8 .
Do not touch the w orkpiece immediately after
operation; it may be extremely hot and could
burn your skin.

Observe the instructions of the manufacturer
for correct mounting and use of w heels.
Handle and store w heels w ith care.

Do not use separate reducing bushings or
adaptors to adapt large hole abrasive w heels.

Use only anges specified for this tool.

For tools intended to be fitted with threaded
hole w heel, ensure that the thread in the w heel
is long enough to accept the spindle length.

Check that the w orkpiece is properly supported.

Pay attention that the w heel continues to
rotate after the tool is sw itched off.

If w orking place is extremely hot and humid,
or badly polluted by conductive dust, use a
short-circuit breaker (30 mA) to assure opera-
tor safety.
1 6 .
Do not use the tool on any materials contain-
ing asbestos.
1 7.
When use cut-off w heel, alw ays w ork w ith
the dust collecting w heel guard required by
domestic regulation.
1 8 .
Cutting discs must not be subjected to any
lateral pressure.

Do not use cloth w ork gloves during operation.
Fibers from cloth gloves may enter the tool, which
causes tool breakage.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
Alw ays be sure that the tool is
sw itched off and unplugged before adjusting or
checking function on the tool.
CAUTION:
Return the sw itch trigger to the
" OFF" position in case of accidental unplugging,
blackout, or the pow er is cut unintentionally.
Otherwise the tool may start suddenly when the
power returns and it may result in personal injury.

NOTICE:
Never actuate the shaft lock w hen the
spindle is moving.
The tool may be damaged.
Sw itch action
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the tool, alw ays
check to see that the sw itch trigger actuates
properly and returns to the " OFF" position w hen
released.

Lock lever
For tool w ith the lock-on sw itch
CAUTION:
Sw itch can be locked in " ON" posi-
tion for ease of operator comfort during extended
use. Apply caution w hen locking tool in " ON"
position and maintain firm grasp on tool.
To start the tool, simply pull the switch trigger (in the B
direction). Release the switch trigger to stop.
For continuous operation, pull the switch trigger (in the
B direction) and then push in the lock lever (in the A
direction).
To stop the tool from the locked position, pull the switch
trigger fully (in the B direction), then release it.
For tool w ith the lock-off sw itch
To prevent the switch trigger from accidentally pulled, a
loc k lev er is prov id ed .
To start the tool, push in the lock lever (in the A direc
-
tion) and then pull the switch trigger (in the B direction).
R elease th e sw itc h trigger to stop.
NOTICE:
Do not pull the sw itch trigger hard
w ithout pressing in the lock-off button.

cause switch breakage.
