If the head of the staple remains above the workpiece 

surface, drive the staple while holding the stapler head 

firmly against the workpiece.

NOTE:

 If the head of the staple still remains above 

the workpiece even you hold the stapler head, 

the material may not be suitable for the stapler. 

Continuing to use the stapler on such material may 

result in a damage to the driver of the stapler and/or 

stapler jamming.

NOTE:

 When the main magazine is empty, the tool 

does not drive even if you perform the driving opera-

tion above. (The lamp lights up.)

Anti dry fire mechanism

When the magazine is empty, the switch trigger can no 

longer be pulled. At this time, insert new staples in the 

magazine. The switch trigger can be pulled again.

Checking remaining staples

Remaining staples can be checked through the sight 

window.

Reload staples when no remaining staples can be seen 

in the sight window.

Removing jammed staples

WARNING:

 

Make sure that the battery car-

tridge and staples are removed before removing 

jammed staples.

Open the sub magazine backward and take out jammed 

staples from the opening for firing.

repairs, any other maintenance or adjustment should 

be performed by Makita Authorized or Factory Service 

Centers, always using Makita replacement parts.
