If installing escutcheon
trim, the holes can be
drilled with a twist drill,
brad point bit, or hole
saw. If using a brad point
bit, it is for use on wood
doors only.
For M & N trim, use a
5/8” bit and drill holes
top and bottom using
the drill bushings
marked M & N. Drill
the escutcheon holes
half way from both
sides of the door.
When all holes have
been completed,
remove the HIT-66
drill guide from the
door.
Completed lock prep.
Install lock per
manufacturers
directions
.
