To drill the escutcheon holes for the J
trim, remove the hardened drill guides
from the M&N trim at the top of the drill
guide. Using the same screws, replace
with the drill block marked J trim.
Using a 3/8” twist
drill, drill this hole
half way from both
sides of the door.
DO NOT DRILL THE
BOTTOM M&N TRIM
HOLE.
When all holes have
been completed,
remove the HIT-66
drill guide from the
Completed lock prep.
Install lock per
manufacturers
directions
.
