MAJIC ATTIC LIFT PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS
Section 4: Attic Preparation
Lift Location
NOTE: Wiring the Majic Attic Lift electric outlet (110V) to the attic light switch is required. Ma-
jic Attic Lift recommends hiring a licensed electrician for this procedure.
1. Determine where to install your Majic Attic Lift. Install your lift with at least one bay between
the stairs/ladder and lift, preferably two. This leaves you enough room to move your items
onto and off of the lift basket. You load from only one side of the lift, so be sure to position
your lift where you can access the cargo. (See Figure 1 for possible locations.)
NOTE: If the framing is not truss construction, consult an engineer on how to prepare an
opening.
