12. Pull the lifting cable through from the top and pull down until snug. (See Figure 9 for refer-
ence.)

Add a flat washer and lock nut to both sides and tighten onto the carriage bolts, so they hold
the cable.
NOTE: Do not over tighten or the carriage bolts will break. A maximum of 15 pounds of torque
is recommended.
14. Add the two remaining carriage bolts into the basket arms with the pre-drilled holes in the
horizontal position. (See Figure 9 for reference.)
15. Push the cable through the hole from the front to the back of the basket and pull tight.

Add a flat washer and lock nut to both sides and tighten onto the carriage bolts, so they hold
the cable.
NOTE: Do not over tighten or the carriage bolts will break. A maximum of 15 pounds of torque
is recommended.

Measure 12" of cable past the cable bracket and cut the remaining cable off.
18. Push the 12" piece into the 1/4" hole in the top of the bracket arm.
19. Attach the bungee cords. (2) 12" bungees are for LEFT and RIGHT side. (See Figure 10 for
reference.)
