3. Clean the installa on surface and the underside of the grinder with a
damp cloth and dry the surfaces.
4. The surfaces must be dry and free of oil and grease.
5. Place the grinder back onto the cleaned surface.
Cleaning the casing
1. Switch off the grinder and remove the power plug from the socket.
2. Wipe the casing and the collec ng tray
(16) with a damp cloth as re-
quired, but at least once a week.
3. Carefully clean the outlet (11) with the brush (23) .
Cleaning the bean container
The bean container must be cleaned daily to remove any coff ee
oil residue, as this can have a nega ve eff ect on the taste.
1. Close the sliding valve (24) by sliding it into the slot below the hopper.
2. Transfer the espresso beans into another container.
3. Clean the bean container inside and out with a damp cloth and then dry
it.
4. Pour the espresso beans into the hopper again and remove the sliding
valve by pulling it out.
The sliding valves (24) are located below the
collec ng tray (16) .
