9. Seal the hopper by sliding in both sliding valves (24) .
10. Place the collec ng tray (16) into the corresponding opening under the
outlet (11) .
Connec ng the poten al equalizer
The connec on for poten al equaliza on (18) is located on the back of the
grinder (see Fig. B ). The electrical connec on and tes ng of electronic func-
onality must be carried out by an electrician.
1. Loosen and remove the lock nut (see Fig. C ).
2. Remove the lock ring and the fl at washer.
3. Connect the poten al equaliza on conductor
(25) to the poten al equal-
izer..
The poten al equaliza on conductor is not included with deliv-
ery.
Use a copper poten al equaliza on conductor with a minimum
cross-sec on of 10 mm
2
.
If you have ques ons about this, contact an authorized service
partner or electrician.
4. Secure the poten al equaliza on conductor by rea aching the nut, fl at
washer and lock ring.
5. Make sure that the grinder is switched off (On/Off switch (19) to “0”) and
connect the grinder to the power supply by inser ng the power plug (20)
into a properly installed safety socket.
Adjus ng the portafi lter support
Adjust the portafi lter support (15) to the size of your espresso machine’s
portafi lter:
1. Make sure that the grinder is switched off and not connected to a power
supply.
2. Turn an clockwise using the Allen key (short, 3 mm) (22) to loosen the
screws (13) for adjus ng the portafi lter support (le and right).
3. The portafi lter support is lowered as far as it will go.
4. Insert the portafi lter between the portafi lter support
(15) and the porta-
fi lter moun ng (12) .
5. Push the portafi lter support upwards un l the portafi lter fi ts exactly be-
tween the portafi lter support and the portafi lter moun ng.
