DRIVER AIRBAG
The driver airbag (DAB) is located on the centre of the steering wheel and protects the driver by reducing
the impact during frontal collision. DAB is connected to SRS ECU thru clock spring

During Ignition ON , SRS ECU continuously monitors the loop resistance of the
DAB and is >= 4.5

CONDITION
The DAB loop resistance > 7.1
Ω
for 1200 msec

Open DAB positive/negative wires
Open clockspring
DAB internal failure
SRS ECU malfunction
LAMP
