DTC CHECKING PROCEDURE
Turn the ignition ON and Initialise i-SMART tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF then ON
Proceed to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE if
B1001-17
is present
If not present, then check for any intermittent problem
Ignition ON
Engine running at high idle
Check the voltage between battery positive and battery negative terminals
Is the value
>15.0 V?
Suspect the charging circuit
Check and confirm the proper
functioning of charging circuit
Clear the DTC and verify
Suspect RPAS ECU malfunction
Replace the RPAS ECU with a new
one
Check and verify for any new DTC’s
