The output voltages and their values in particle mass concentration (mg/m

Low Range:

The voltage versus particle concentration output is linear, as shown on the following charts.
Test data in these charts was generated by recording output voltage corresponding to the
values displayed on the screen (which accounts for some minor deviations due to continuous
minor fluctuations in PM sample concentration).

3.8 Remote
Control
(Optional)
If an optionally available wired remote control has been supplied, this may be connected to the
threaded 4-pin connector at the lower right hand corner of the front panel. The connector is
keyed to ensure correct orientation. The function of the remote control is to duplicate the
ENTER
key on the front panel, facilitating one-person testing by allowing the instrument to be
operated from the driving position of the vehicle or equipment under test.
