Checking and Replacing the Internal Filter
The same visual check applies to the internal “shield air” filter cartridge, but this filter is
disposable and replaced as a single unit.
Remove the eight case cover retaining screws and lift off the cover. Remove the filter cartridge
from its spring clip, gently detached from the hose and replaced by a similar specification filter.
It is recommended that this check is done monthly. The following photograph shows the correct
orientation for re-fitting the disposable filter.
