Use
1. Charge the battery completely for the fi rst time of usage. Remove
the plate cover between the controller and speed control knob.

2. Connect DS connecting jack (1) of the battery controller to the plug
of the AC adaptor.
3. Connect AC adaptor (5) to the connecting plug (4).
4. Connect the plug (5) to the grounded outlet.
5. The light will be glowing during charging the battery.
6. The light will fl ash when the battery is charged.
7. When the light stops during charging, immediately cut off the power
and get your electric fi le checked.
8. It is possible to use the hand piece while the battery is charging.
9. Check the position of the on/off button.

10. Connect the hand piece (7) to the battery (12).
11. Open the hand piece to S and put the bit in the collet.
12. Hold the hand piece fi rmly and turn the fi le on. The battery light will
glow and the hand piece will start to spin.
13. Control the speed by moving the speed control button.
14. The hand piece will not rotate when the electric fi le is off.
15. Always turn the speed control button to minus before shutting down
the electric fi le.
Forward / reversed system
The rotation direction of the electric fi le can only be changed when the
electric fi le is switched off, due to safety reasons. In the forward position
the fi le is suitable for right handed technicians, in the reverse position
the fi le is suitable for left handed technique.
LED indicator
1. The battery is fully charged. (green light)
2. The battery starts to get empty. (green light)
3. The battery is almost empty. (red light)
Do not charge the battery before it is completely empty to
guarantee the long life of the Lithium ion battery.
During charging
When the battery is charged the warning light will fl ash. The maximum
charging time is 120 minutes (yellow light). When the battery fully is
charged the light will continuous glow (yellow light). When the light
went off, there is an usual situation. Do not use the battery and contact
the supplier. (yellow light)
Safety System
Circuit breaker
The circuit breaker will temporary cut of the power to the fi le and the
overload led will turn orange during following circumstances:
• When the motor of the hand piece is overloaded.
• When the motor of the hand piece is locked and stopped.
• When the set ring is turned by mistake during operation.
Restart the circuit breaker by pushing the start/stop button.
• Turn the rotation button to MINUS.
• Shut the electric fi le down off by pushing the on/off button.
• Start the electric fi le and slowly turn on the speed.
The overload light will glow when the electric fi le is used while the
machine is overloaded.
Heat sensor
The heat sensor will temporary cut off the power to the hand piece. The overload
led will turn yellow when the output is overheated.
To reset the circuit breaker press the start/stop button. If the temperature is not
safe for use, the power will be cut off again immediately. After a view minutes the
machine will automatically be working again.
When malfunctioning
When the machine doesn’t function at all, fi rst check the plug. When the power
supply is working, a fuse may have blown.
Warranty
Magnetic offers one year warranty on the electric equipment. In case of
malfunction and claim, fi rst contact the local Magnetic Distribution Centre you
bought the machine.
Limited warranty
Warranty covers manufacturer defects only and only if the instructions for use were
followed. It’s use is restricted to professional, skilled nail technicians. Magnetic
takes no responsibility when the machine is operated by unskilled persons.
The following conditions void warranty after:
• using oil or grease on hand piece or control box;
• servicing or dissembling the hand piece or control box by any other person
than employees of the Magnetic Nail Academy;
• dropping or excessive shock to hand piece or control box;
• immersing the hand piece or control box in any type of sterilizing or cleaning
solution;.
• inserting bent or damaged bits in the hand piece. When operation the hand
piece with damaged bits, the bearings will be damaged.
Returned goods which were damaged by insuffi cient packing, are the responsibility
of the sender. This warranty does not affect your legal rights.

• Replace a protective bit after use to prevent defects.
• Keep moving the bit constantly, don’t keep the bit on the same spot
of the nail.
• Please do not give to much pressure to the bit while rotating. It does
not only work ineffi cient but it could also damage the bit and nail.
• Do not drop the hand piece. If it happens, ensure yourself of a
normal appearance of the tool and bit and then operate increasing
the speed from the [MIN] position gradually. If something unusual is
detected, contact your supplier.
• Do not drop the motor or battery. The battery contains acid liquid
which can leak after falling. In case of contact with skin or eyes wash
with water and contact a doctor. Do not rub.
Maintenance and inspection
• Remove dust or dirt with a brush or soft cloth after use. After that
use a moist towel. Dry off with a duster. If there is dirt on the inside
of the collet, remove the collet from the head and clean it.
• Use dust protectors to prevent dust from damaging your hand piece.
• Never place a dust protector against the hand piece, leave some
space in between.
• Always remove the bit from the hand piece when you are fi nished
working. Replace by the protective bit.
• Disinfect your bits according to the guidelines of your supplier.
• Periodical inspection is recommended every 1 or 2 years for safe and
effi cient use. Please consult your service supplier.
