Setting the photo mode
Select one of the available photo modes to take a
photo with the most suitable settings.
1. In Photo mode press the
button.
2. Select [Photo mode] using
S
/
T
buttons and
confi rm by pressing the
OK
button.
3. Using the
W
/
X
dbuttons select the desired
recording mode and confi rm by pressing the
OK
button.
Most of the Photo modes can also be changed from the Function menu by pressing the
Fn
button.
Scene mode
Description
Auto
Select this mode to take photos without having to set up special functions or
manually enter settings.
Program
In this mode, most parameters can be set manually.
Intelligent scene
Select this mode if you want the camera to automatically select an ideal photo
mode based on the surroundings.
Portrait
Select this mode if you want to take a photo of a person against a blurred
background.
Landscape
Select this mode if you want to take a photo with infi nity focus, high in sharp-
ness and saturation.
Sunset
Select this mode if you want to take a photo of a sunset. This mode provides
deep hues for the image
