Maintenance
The projector needs little maintenance. You should always keep the lens clean as
dust or stains will project on the screen and diminish the image quality.
The only part you should replace yourself is the lamp.
If any other parts need replacing, contact your dealer or qualified service personnel.
When cleaning any part of the projector, always switch off and unplug the projector
power cord first.
Warning:
Never open any of the covers on the projector except the lamp and filter covers.
Dangerous electrical voltages inside the projector can cause severe injury. Except
as specifically indicated in this Instruction Manual, do not attempt to service this
product yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Cleaning the Lens
Clean the lens whenever you notice dirt or dust on the surface. Wipe the lens sur-
face gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
To remove dirt or stains on the lens, moisten a soft cloth with water and a neutral
detergent and gently wipe the lens surface.
Cleaning the Projector Case
To clean the projector case, first unplug the power cable. To remove dirt or dust,
wipe the casing with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. To remove stubborn dirt or stains,
moisten a soft cloth with water and a neutral detergent. Then wipe the casing. Do not
use alcohol, benzene, thinners or other chemical detergents as these can cause the
casing to warp.
