5.5.1
Swiveling the guide bar
For long cutting lengths (e.g. several beams one behind the other), the guide bar can be swiveled back through
10°. This makes it easier to guide the machine straight ahead, in particular when moving from one workpiece
to the next.
Use the following procedure to swivel the guide
bar rearward:
1.
Pull out the power plug of the machine.
2.
Put down the cable where you can see it.
3.
Using the combination screwdriver (B), turn
the two locking screw (25)
counterclockwise
to loosen them.
4.
Swivel the guide bar in the direction of the rear
handle until it hits the stop.
5.
Using the combination screwdriver (B), turn
the two locking screws (25)
clockwise
to
tighten them.
✓
Guide bar swiveled to the rear.
