3 - INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
- RED Wire (Positive main power supply): Connect to the positive battery pole or to a permanent 12V
positive inside the passenger compartment via a 15A fuse.

BROWN wire (Negative main power supply): connect to the negative battery pole or to a ground
point inside the passenger compartment.
- YELLOW wire (Positive subkey): connect to a positive subkey of the vehicle (+15/54) that is also
present during start-up.
ATTENTION :
- The alarm system must be installed by an authorised installer.
- Place the control panel GT1001CB-B and the module GT949 in a hidden place
inside the passenger compartment.
- Position the siren GT945/944/843 without place it close to intense sources of heat and water
infiltration.
- It is recommended to weld and insulate all connections and to insulate unconnected wires.
- Before proceeding with the installation, consult the vehicle data sheet provided by MACNIL - GT
ALARM where the protections available on the CAN BUS line of the vehicle are listed.
CONNECTIONS TO THE CAN BUS LINE :
- ORANGE/GREEN (CAN High) and ORANGE/BROWN (CAN Low) wires: connect to the vehicle’s CAN
BUS wires as indicated on the installation cards provided by MACNIL - GT ALARM. The alarm control
panel shall be positioned close to the CAN BUS connection point indicated on the card.
- WHITE/RED wire (Common of the direction indicator light’s relay): if the function No. 5 SINGLE WIRE
BLINKER CONTROL is DISABLED connect to a permanent 12V positive inside the passenger
compartment via a 15 A fuse.
If the function No. 5 SINGLE WIRE BLINKER COMMAND is ENABLED connect as shown in the BLINKER
COMMAND DIAGRAM.
- ORANGE wires (BLINKER control): If the function No. 5 SINGLE WIRE BLINKER CONTROL is DISABLED
connect to the left and right direction indicators of the vehicle.
If the function No. 5 SINGLE WIRE BLINKER CONTROL is
ENABLED , the direction indicators can be
controlled with only one ORANGE wire (Only on pre-arranged cars - See BLINKER CONTROL
DIAGRAM). For the connection please refer to the installation card MACNIL - GT ALARM for the
vehicle.
- WHITE/BLACK wire (Discriminator / Analog signals on and off alarm system): this wire can be used
to switch on/off the system via analog signals. In this case you have to connect it to the wire that
controls one of the bulbs of the direction indicators.
