6 INTRODUCTION

Engine Identification

On

MACK MP8

engines, the engine serial number is stamped on the left side of the engine

block, below the inlet manifold.

C0032621

In compliance with the emissions standards requirements, an engine exhaust emissions
control sticker is affixed to one of the engine valve covers for all MACK engines. This
sticker provides basic engine identification information.

The engine information sticker is found on the top of the front cylinder head cover on

MACK MP8

engines.
