Checking Engine Startup

Start the engine. For instructions, refer to

6.15 Starting

Engine, page 97

The brakes should engage and the machine should not
move after engine start-up.

Ensure the steering wheel is centered. Move ground
speed lever (GSL) (A) straight out of N-DETENT
(neither forward nor reverse).

The machine should

not move.

With the GSL out of N-DETENT, check that the steering
wheel is free to move.

If the machine does not function as described
above, the system requires adjustment. Refer to the
technical manual.
