ASSEMBLING THE WINDROWER

CAUTION

Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.

IMPORTANT:

Remove protective cover from exhaust stack
prior to starting engine.

2.

Start the engine and activate HEADER DOWN
button (A) on the ground speed lever (GSL) to fully
retract header lift cylinders.

Figure 6.222: GSL

3.

If necessary, relocate pin (A) at the frame linkage as
required to raise the center-link (B) so that the hook is
above the attachment pin on the header..

IMPORTANT:

If the center-link is too low, it may contact the
header as the windrower approaches the header
for hookup.

4.

Slowly drive the windrower forward so the feet (A)
on the windrower enter the boots (B) on the header.
Continue to drive slowly forward until the feet engage
the boots and the header nudges forward.
