WARNING!
The cutting edges of the saw chain (4) are sharp! Always
wear protective gloves when handling chain!

2. Lift the ring handle (16a) and unscrew
the locking wheel (16) anticlockwise, then
remove it together with the sprocket cove
(15) from the mounting bolt (19) (Fig. 1,
steps 1, 2, 3).
3. Spread the saw chain (4)
out with the cutting
edges of the chain pointing in the direction
of rotation.
Slide the saw chain (4) into the groove
around the guide bar (5). Ensure saw chain
(4) is installed in correct direction of rotation
(Fig. 2).

WARNING!
The direction of the saw chain ‘cutters’ must be same as
indicated by the symbol and arrow on the guide bar (5)!
4. Align the saw chain (4) and guide bar (5) assembly with the drive sprocket
(18) and the mounting bolt (19). Lay the saw chain (4) around the drive
sprocket (18) and then lower the guide bar (5) to install it to the mounting bolt
(19) (Fig. 3).
5. Make sure the tension pin (20) is inserted into the lower hole on the guide
bar (5). Screwing the tension screw (3) in to adjust the tension pin (20) to the
end of slot using the supplied multi-tool (24) if necessary (Fig. 3, steps 1, 2).
