heating
• The refrigerator may produce heat during operation, especially
during the summer, this is caused by the radiation of the con-
denser. This is normal.
• Condensation: It is normal and the condensation can be wiped out
with a dry towel.
• Buzz: Buzzing is generated when the compressor operates, espe-
cially when switching on or off.
tips to save energy
Try not to open the door frequently, especially when the weather is
hot and humid. Once you open the door, close it as soon as possible.
From time to time check that the appliance has enough ventilation
(adequate air circulation behind the appliance).
Under normal temperature conditions, place the thermostat in the
middle setting.
Before placing fresh food packages inside the appliance, make sure
they are at room temperature.
Frost layer increases the energy consumption, so clean the appliance
when the layer reaches 3 to 5 mm thick.
If the model of your refrigerator is equipped with an external con-
denser, then the rear wall must be keep clean and free of dust or
debris.
Always consider the instructions in sections
"Places and tips to
save energy"
, otherwise the energy consumption can be substan-
tially high.
• The appliance must be placed in the coldest area of the room,
away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts and away
from direct sunlight.
• Allow hot foods to cool down to room temperature before placing
them inside the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the
compressor to work longer. Foods that freeze slowly can lose qual-
ity or spoil.
• Be sure to wrap the food properly and dry the containers before
placing them in the appliance. This reduces the accumulation of
frost inside the appliance.
• The drawer of the appliance must not be lined with aluminum foil,
wax paper or paper towels. Linings interfere with the circulation
of cold air causing the appliance to lose efficiency.
• Organize and label foods to reduce the number of times you open
the door as well as extended searches. Take out all the food you
need at once and close the door as soon as possible.
