Activate Web-based authentication for an
IP Group
IP Group authentication is the preferred selection for Web-
based authentication—over the Global Group Profile
authentication option—as it decreases the load on the Web
Filter.
Step 1: Create a new IP Group, “webauth”
1. Click the IP branch of the tree.
2. Select Add Group from the pop-up menu to open the
Create New Group dialog box:

webauth
as the
Group Name
.
4. Enter the password in the
Password
and
Confirm Pass-
word
fields.
5. Click
OK
to add the group to the tree.
