7.7 Seats and safety harness

The seatback is adjustable by two means:

1. The seatback base can be moved forwards and rearwards by

removing two thumbscrews on the seatback pivot point and setting
the seatback to the desired position (Figure 7.6.0-1).

2. The top of the seatback can be adjusted between an upright or

reclined position by moving the seatback adjuster, located behind
the seatback, in or out. The seat back adjuster is unlocked by
squeezing the seatback locking pins towards each other (Figure
7.6.0-2).

WARNING

: Ensure that both thumbscrews adjusting the base are all

the way in and the adjuster locking pins are engaged
before flying to prevent the seatback from shifting
backwards. This could result in loss of aircraft control.
