If the tilde (~ 7E Hex) or the Delete codes (DEL 7F Hex) follow the delete code, the second code 
is passed to the RS-232 port unconverted. With this facility, all code configurations from 00 Hex 
through 7F Hex can be sent to the auxiliary output port. 

The auxiliary input port is independent of the auxiliary output port. If the DOS terminal is 
configured to accept XON/XOFF signals and if the RS-232 device is capable of producing 
XON/XOFF signals, then the input port can be used to control the flow of data to the output port.
