1 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Luxul High Performance Flush Mount
802.11n Wireless Access Point (XAP-1010). The XAP-1010 is designed for discreet
use in residential and commercial Wi-Fi installations—delivering optimal network
performance, while blending unobtrusively with the décor when installed inside
a wall or ceiling. Powered by Luxul’s Technology, the XAP-1010 enhances data
throughput and coverage by as much as 400% over traditional Wi-Fi gear, provid-
ing for whole home or small offi ce coverage with a single access point. With this
high performance wireless access point, computers and wireless devices that are
compatible with 802.11b/g and/or 802.11n can sustain maximum data rates and
improved overall performance at signifi cantly greater distances.
The XAP-1010 features Luxul web based management interface. It provides a power-
ful, yet simple method for setting up and optimizing the wireless network. The
XAP-1010 is also enabled for optimal performance and installation simplicity when
deployed together with Luxul Routers, Gigabit Switches, and other Luxul products.
