inspection of the LEDs. The Green Power LED (bottom of the stack) should be
on while the amber LAN Link light fl ashes, indicating Ethernet activity. Once the
WLAN LED is solid blue the XAP-1010 is ready to receive connections from wireless
devices. The Green LED at the top of the stack will only be on if the access point is
set to function in bridge mode.

4.4.7 Attaching the Cover Plate
Once it has been determined that the access point is functioning properly, attach
the cover plate using the screws provided. Be sure not to over-tighten the screws.
Note that the cover plate is paintable.
NOTE:
If painting the cover plate, be sure to use only latex based paints.
CAUTION:
Paint or wall covering with any metal content placed over the
front of the XAP-1010 will effect the performance of the unit.
5 CONFIGURATION
5.1 Login
The XAP-1010 is not equipped with internal DHCP server. If connected to the Luxul
XBR-2300 Enterprise Dual-WAN Router, IP address confi guration will be automatic.
Otherwise, the IP address of the computer for login and confi guration will need
to be manually confi gured. The table below lists the default parameters of the
XAP-1010.
