2.3 LUXMATE time control
The time control function monitors and controls the change of scenes, time, date and the
building-wide or room-wide switching times (e.g. for the illumination). You set the time at which
a scene change is to occur. For example, this could be the dimming out of the illumination
at the end of the work day or the lowering of the glare protection at night for visibility and
climate protection reasons.
Only one LM-ZSM time control may be connected in a LUXMATE system at any time. If a Room
Automation Computer LRA is used, both it and the time management software ZM replace the
LM-ZSM time control.
The configuration of the changes of scenes is possible with LM-ZSM as from Version 3.30.
You can link each LUXMATE scene to an automatic time control. For this purpose, carry out
the actions in Chap. 8.8, Pg. 40 (Setting time control).
2.4 LUXMATE sequence control
Sequence control regulates the LUXMATE sequences (scene sequences). A scene sequence can
be called up with the initial scene or started automatically at a specified time. An automatic
stop of the scene sequence at a specified time or after the last run can also be set.
The sequence of scenes (steps) which are called up to follow one another can be set arbitrarily.
The fade speeds and delay (time delta) between the individual scenes which are called up can
be set. The delay lies between 0.1 seconds and 99 minutes 59 seconds. Random delays can also
be set.
For example, sequences can be devised for a show window which direct attention to a certain
product via the effective use of light. Another example would be barely detectable scene
sequences in an office room which increase the motivation of the people in the room. The
classic staircase light control can also be attained with sequence control.
The configuration of sequences is possible with LM-ZSQ as from Version 1.30.
Several LM-ZSQ sequence controls can be used in a LUXMATE system. When programming
sequences, however, ensure that only one sequence control unit is connected to the LUXMATE
bus.
To set the LUXMATE sequence control, carry out the actions listed in Chap. 8.9, Pg. 41 (Setting
scene sequences).
